Annie Walton-Teter, one of our three Surf Like a Girl co-founders, was in a sailing accident off the California coast in June. She sustained a brain injury and fractures that required surgeries, and is now receiving treatment at a rehabilitation facility, where she is showing amazing signs of progress. If you’re lucky enough to be acquainted with our Annie, you know her zest for life is contagious and she has never needed a reminder that life is precious. There has already been a beautiful outpouring of love and support for her and we are looking forward to helping her continue in her recovery.
To help with the medical and other costs associated with her treatment and rehabilitation, which is expected to continue for several months, her family set up a recovery fund. Please join us in wishing her well and helping her with her continued progress in her recovery!
